Over a 40-day period that includes 200 hours of practical training, students engage with the fundamentals and challenges of developing biblically based communities.
Curriculum has a threefold emphasis: Bible knowledge (including doctrine and a survey of the Bible); ministry skills (including pastoral care and evangelism); and character development (including personal holiness and spiritual maturity). Instructors conduct classes near students’ homes so they can continue to work their day jobs while studying to become local Christian leaders.
Portable Bible Schools have equipped over 190,000 local leaders with Bible knowledge and ministry skills.
